This is dated August 5. NPR reports on the 11th album featuring "young talent and uprooted lesser-known vets who primarily perform solo guitar."

This year, pedal steel is in the spotlight. Here's one young player.

according to the recent NYT article she's 57 years old, which surprised me. her online bio says her music career began in 1991

Good catch, Scott. 57 is not young, so maybe "lesser-known"?

The cuts on the album are mostly ambient/spacy works. Some names that I hadn't heard of before, excepting B J Cole.
