First time trying "Remington Ride" .......on a new Georgeboards 25" scale 8 string, with a Steeltronics S-8 pickup. The finish is "Champagne Colorshift". Really love the tone. Crisp and clear, but full, with plenty of low-end. This is a string-thru humbucker, btw.

Excuse the occasional intonation wigglies. Still getting used to the long scale and just learning the tune.

For you weirdos (like me!) who care about such things......here's the same tune, same rig......different steel, to compare.

I think I like the George boards tone better but your playing is great on both,Jim! That finish is really cool as well. Cool

Thanks much, guys!

I like them both, but the Georgeboards is certainly a great quality, excellent playing and sounding instrument. And Scott from Steeltronics is making fine, fine pickups.
