Surfing the web for music I like I discovered this site:
http://glennscountrymusiccabinet.blogspot.com/
Wowwee mother! Scroll down to Earnest Tubb..... and find a gold mine of classic steel. I won't argue the legality of downloading from this site, use your own beliefs whether to download or not. Many other artist are included too. Of particular interest to me was the Beverly Hillbillies album. Good dumb fun!

Bob, thanks for sharing a link to the website. Good stuff there.

Some of these albums are stored in the RAR archive file format. The RAR file format is proprietary so Microsoft Windows does not have a built-in extraction utility. Beware because the first couple of search links guides lead you to utilities you have to pay for.

ExtractNow is a free utility, it works great and can do batch files! Here is a link to the ExtractNow homepage: https://extractnow.com/#/home

Another free utility that can extract RAR files is 7Zip. 7Zip also has it's own compression format. Here is a link to the 7Zip homepage: https://www.7-zip.org/

Jim, thanks for additional info. I based my downloading experience on an apple computer not a PC. I should mention that it takes 5 or 6 steps to get an actual mp3. Not a complicated process once you figure it out. And yes weird pop ups can occur so be mindful of that stuff. But the reward is worth it. I download these albums to my iPod. One thing I’ll mention is I tried to figure the process out a couple of years ago and gave up as It was a little confusing. I now have a ton of new albums to listen to.
