Here's a nice tune using the "Virtual Jeff" (Au Hoy) vibrato unit ... to compensate for Parkinson's that is taking away my left han abilities

It's amazing how people can think of ways to play with a disability. There's no end to the passion to play this instrument. Well played and thanks for the inspiration to us all. Smile

Rick, my man, you are the ultimate steel guitar problem solver! Very cool solution to a terrible situation. I’m sorry to hear about it, but your continued dedication to steel guitar in the face of challenges is inspiring.

How has playing helped you in dealing with these challenges? Many of us would love to hear it from you.

Not much to tell ... last summer it was so difficult I just stopped playing ... I have a Boss Vibrato pedal but the vibrato is so consistent ... after awhile it gets monotonous ... so I just quit.

Then I saw this product from Fomofx ... and even though it was $$$ ... I figured what the hell ... and bought it. It's a cool unit ... I find the most difficult part is going back down to pick the strings after employing the vibrato arm ... But it's very fun and I find myself sneaking down to the basement a couple times a day now 🤠

So sorry to hear about your health issues Rick. Hoping that you can continue playing and more importantly enjoy the playing. A very cool solution I thought. You mentioned Jeff au Hoy! That guy has the best vibrato in the modern era. Period!!!!!
