I had originally posted this in Event Announcements, but it received very few views.....I hope that it's ok to post here because of that......

The Asheville Guitar Bar presents Mr. Jimmy's Friday Night Blues Jam featuring special guest Steve Cunningham, along with Blood Sweat & Tears bassist Jim Fielder.......

Friday, May 27 at 7:30pm - This is a live stream on Facebook and Youtube.....log onto either or both and enjoy a 90 minute set of various blues styles......Mr. Jimmy, from Chicago hosts a great blues jam in a living room type setting and for 35 years fronted The Chicago Kingsnakes before moving to Asheville.......many, or most of you know or have seen Steve Cunningham's videos here and on other steel groups as well as his Youtube channel......Jim Fielder was/is the bass player for Blood Sweat & Tears and one of the finest in the business.......

Here's a little bio of Steve.......

That is cool. I will try and tune in. Seems like a cool place, Asheville Guitar Bar. At first, I thought it was your living room’s new name. 😂

The Asheville Guitar Bar is like Barbes, but more chill (if that's possible)......there are a fair amount of retired fantastic musicians here who play pretty much for the fun of it....it's revolving......

If you can't catch the live stream, the video will be archived and available to watch at any time.....

Steve is looking forward to this since he really never gets a chance to play in a designated blues set and he can really stretch out here.....everyone at The Guitar Bar is looking forward to this since steel guitar is kind of a rarity here.....I'm trying to promote it though.....I still have a little co producer left in me from the old days of The Rick Alexander Non Pedal Room.......

BTW......The Guitar Bar would have been a cool venue for The Moonlighters......

This is gonna be a lot of fun. It'll also be my first time gigging in C6 and F#9, so I'm sure hilarity will ensue.
