After 48 years, I've decided to retire and stay home so the guitar and some amps are going to go so I can fund my other long to time hobby of Flying.

The guitar was purchased new at the end of 2018

I have a 705 (non-chrome ring) and a 206 as part of the deal. I would rate this guitar a 9.5 outta 10.

Set up is as follows:

LKL Raise E's
LKR Raise 1,2 lowers 7 whole
RKL Lowers E's
RKR Lower 2 with 1/2 stop & 9
Vertical lowers B's

Pedal 0 Franklin
Pedals 1,2 & 3 standard Emmons
Pedals B&C have a 1st string compensator but none on the 7th string.

I paid with tax $5800 and am asking $4400 (please don't waste both our time with some crazy low ball offer.)

As for shipping, I would rather make it a local sale if possible here in the D/FW area due to all the horror stories on shippers wrecking guitars. I would consider driving up to 3 hrs to meet if that would work.

Pictures to follow soon

Have you missed a knee-lever from the set-up? I only see four.

Thanks Dale, I’m afraid I’m done. My ears, my back, late nights, lead players that don’t know when to rest and learning songs that the band decides for whatever reason not to play that night just adds up to over and out. I’ll continue to play my Williams but only to keep up my chops.

I get that... I NEVER played to make money, never had the desire too. I just played for the shear enjoyment of it and once in awhile play in church. BUT, you'll still have a guitar to play and thats the important thing, don't ever be without one. Though I'da kept the MSA Wink Wink Wink

The MSA will bring more than the Williams so that’s one reason it’s going. I’ve been a pilot for long time and am wanting to buy a small ultralight I can fly out of my back pasture and along some other items will help me achieve that goal.

Been there done that

Got married had kids and just couldn't afford or justify it anymore... Bought it BRAND NEW in 1980, my Dad also had a NEW 172 with the same paint scheme.

Anyhow, my point is, you're OLD now, so do it while you can, and you'll sure have no problem selling that Beautiful Guitar.

The MSA has been sold pending payment based on my posting on Facebook's Pedal steel no drama page.

If it falls through then I will repost it here again.
