I just received this instrument and would like to make an affordable rig for someone to learn their first licks on.

Not sure what happened to the original tray, and it doesn't look like Kluson is making any 10 string Reproductions.

Just started a shop here in Seattle with the goal of providing a resource to locals so they can start on pedal steel guitar.

Would like to be able to make this a playable starter for someone who doesn't have a lot of funds.

I have one from a Maverick, it's cast pot metal, only has the treble side tuners. Kluson is making repros of the tuners again, 5 on a plate: https://www.wdmusic.com/kluson-5-on-a-plate-deluxe-series-tuning-machines-for-lap-steel-guitar-nickel-details.html. I believe WD is Kluson's parent company, they're cheaper elsewhere: https://reverb.com/item/35354858-kluson-5-on-a-plate-deluxe-series-tuning-machines-for-lap-steel-guitar-nickel, or here: https://www.ebay.com/p/22051891287.

Shoot me an email if you want it.

I've got some KLUSON tuners listed here: https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=382137

Those won't work with the tuner pan. It requires a specific style with a long straight shaft. They're mounted on a plate @ 1" O.C.

Thanks Guys!

Please close.
Got what I needed from Ian.

Gotta put some affordable guitars out there to hook them while they are young. Smile
