I loaded a song into the Amazing Slow Downer App and got a notice that Apple Music no longer allows songs to be sped up or slowed down. Has anyone found a work around? Or had luck changing the speed with another app but still using Apple Music?

Thanks!

Not sure if this solves your problem or not, but most of the Apple Music content is also available on YouTube, which does have built in speed control. Quality probably not as good as Amazing Slow Downer, but perhaps helpful nonetheless...

You can't do it without Apple Music songs, but if you buy them in iTunes (usually around a buck) you can use other software to slow them down. I have always been very happy with Transcribe: https://www.seventhstring.com/xscribe/overview.html

Try Capo, it’s awesome. Not only can you slow down songs but you can also change the key and use the solo and mute functions to isolate the steel track or guitar tracks. You can isolate certain sections and have it repeat also

Thanks Michael - does Try Capo still slow down Apple Music songs? Amazing Slow Downer just stopped recently because Apple no longer allows it.

When you say Apple music do you mean the music subscription service or Apple songs you’ve bought and downloaded? It definately works with songs I’ve downloaded on my ipad or iphone, not sure about the Apple music subscription service.

Joe, I use Apple Music for streaming music as well and the problem with Amazing Slow Downer has now been solved with a new update from Apple (os 15.5).

Hi Einar - I just installed the latest iOS and it's back to how it worked before! thanks.

Michael - I subscribe. It now works with subscriptions again. Though I still may try the one you suggested.
