I have a unique 3-necked pedal steel guitar built by Roland Peachy in the 1940s. My dad, Bob Green, was a student of Mr. Peachy in England before the war, and after working with Mr. Peachy to build it, my dad purchased the guitar in 1946. I have the original receipt signed by Roland Peachy, as well as the original tuning and some of the handwritten music.
My dad passed away in 2020, soon after his 100th birthday, and his express wish was for the guitar to be played and appreciated for its history.
To fulfill his wishes, we are selling the guitar. If you are interested, would like more information, or know of anyone who may be interested, please contact me. Please see the photos posted by Pete McAvity below. Thank you, Pete!

What a great piece of steel guitar history. Records by Felix Mendelssohn's Hawaiian Serenaders, featuring various steel guitarists including Peachey, were readily available in Australia and New Zealand from the '30s onwards and I think that the style of the English dance bands playing Hawaiian and swing music was influential on us.
Peachey can be seen playing a VERY similar and presumably also homemade guitar in the videos below from 1938 and 1939 respectively.

May we ask how the necks were originally tuned?
