What tuners will fit a 70's Gumby key head? Everything I am finding has a shaft that is to long or too short. Does anyone have an idea what was originally used?

Yes Grover romatics were used like your holding; but either one end of string 5 or 6 was shaved a little or a washer/spacer put on outside as you put shaft through hole.(I do the last option)

Grover 102V nickel plated, aka "milk bottle" tuners
