I'm helping a friend of mine, Dan Boursaw sell his Rosewood gloss mica Sierra S-10. He's acquired it from his brother, Jim when he passed away back in 1990. This was shortly after buying the guitar new. My friend, Dan is primarily a bass player, so this guitar has hardly been played, as you'll see from the photos. The case also looks brand new!
I just installed a new set of strings and did a setup and lube on the guitar. It has very smooth pedal and lever action with an Emmons copedent: Es on the left knee. The RKR lowers string 2 to D and string 9 to C#. The RKL lowers strings 5 and 10 to Bb.
The changer is triple raise and double lower and the humbucking pickup has the slide-in mounting feature. It is wound to 18.3K with a tap at 12.5K. I'm guessing it was built by Danny Shields back in the day.
The price is $2200.00 plus FedEx ground shipping, which seems very fair to me, based upon the condition of the guitar and case.
I can accept PayPal "Friends and Family", cashier's check or your personal check but it will have to clear before shipping.

I would have asked $3000.00 & felt charitable. Those guitars are bulletproof, sound great & never wear out. The folk's in the Steel Guitar Community complained about the weight & ruined the company. The Sierra & the MSA were the precision guitars of the era. I won't say any more....
