Thank you Bill. I did ask him to post a video and let us hear him play and he did so. Larry, I appreciate your kind words. The shirt on this video is the atoms Emmons used on a fretboard.

I've always found that if someone can't find a problem with your playing, they'll jump to the "over played" criticism. A lot of it is jealousy.

I agree with you Steven. The main thing is I did not let it keep from moving on.

Wow Paul!!!... I went back and listened to you playing this, and although you WAY OVERPLAYED it Laughing Laughing Wink Wink Laughing Laughing If I could play like that I'd play like that all day.

I also went back read the statements by the Curmudgeon in Chief and although he does play great, seems to lack some social graces, and from his statements seems to have a pretty high opinion of himself and we all should play just like him to play it right, and while we're at it, could you get a better camera angle. Laughing Laughing Laughing Sometimes I crack me up.

Reminds me of a fear biting dog. We raised German Shepherd Dogs for many years. There were two kinds of dogs who'd bark at a stranger. The ones who'd bark at you from the back of the kennel and the ones that would get up in your face at the front of the kennel. The dog in the back feels threatened by you and wants to show himself as strong, but from a distance, cause he's actually scared of you. The brave dog is confident enough to bark at you from the front of the kennel. Facebook and the Forum and other Social Media platforms tend to bring out the back of the kennel dogs.

You just keep playing how you play.

Thank you Roger for your kind words. Thank you Bill for your kind words as well. Dale, I appreciate your kind words and input. I never ever thought about the German Sheperd idea but sounds right. That being said, I have watched many of your videos and you are just downright a great player. Your thinking is so unique and I envy you for that.

Really fine playing. The great Brumley was backing a singer and you did a great steel guitar instrumental version! Two different styles of playing that can not be compared.

If we played everything "just like the record", music would be boring as hell. Oh Well I wouldn't take a band job if the leader told me to play nothing more than what was done on the original recording.
