For those who might be interested (a tiny fraction of SGF members) and who live in or near Houston, Texas (an even tinier fraction), I'll be performing twice in Houston Texas next week.
On Saturday, April 23rd, I will play solo at the Orange Show on 2401 Munger Street (a Houston institution that is worth a visit) from 8-9pm.

Then on Sunday, April 24th, I will perform as a guest with the Relative Dissonance improvising ensemble (Aaron Bielish - viola, Chapman Welch - piano,,Danny Kamins - bass clarinet, Thomas Helton - bass/tuba, Danielle Reich - soprano) at 8:30pm. This will take place at the Houston Piano Company 1600 W 13th St.

If you can make it out, it will be nice to see you, and it's always nice to meet up with another steel player.
