Horseshoe pickup movement

I've got a Fuzzy Jerry Byrd six string frypan lap steel that I bought new six months ago. I've noticed slight movement of the horseshoe pickup in the direction from bottom of the guitar towards the headstock and back. Anyone else have this experience with their horseshoe pickups? Is it normal? Thoughts? Thanks!
