Just got the very sad news that my good friend of 51 years, Chris Norid died last night from a heart attack. He will be missed by me for a long time to come. We met when I was 22 and he was a couple of years younger than me. Almost right away we formed the Crazy Creek band. He kept that band going in one form or another all these years until last night. He was dealt a rough hand in life but he played it well and never complained. Alway sang his heart out.... His daughter Deana posted this song he wrote on facebook. The photo is from the first incarnation of the band a long time ago. I sure will miss him. Always a good friend to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LV78k8fw2PU

Memories and the business card... It's all I have left from that, but it's more than enough.

Thanks for the nice comments,
The Memorial will be on Sunday at a club where he played often.
We are driving down there even though it means I have to go through LA which I hate for driving.
It's over a 900 mile trip each way, so we'll get a motel room in Bakers field for the weekend. That way we only have to do the LA traffic on a Sunday.

At this point he was confined to a wheel chair for the last 15 or 20 years.
Only had limited use of his right hand and used his left to support his right hand.
He was all heart during a very tough life from polio as a very young child.
