Jzchak Wajcman, dba Bill Lawrence USA is the source for the BL-705 steel guitar pickup. I've used them in many lap steels. My last order was never acknowledged, emails aren't answered, and his phone is no longer working. Anyone know if he is still alive?

As far as I know, Wilde pickups doesn't have a blade type equivalent to the BL-705. The only thing I saw on the Wilde site was a 10 string steel guitar pickup with individual poles which isn't suitable for an 8-string lap steel. I emailed Wilde pickups but they never answered so I'm assuming they aren't interested. Also the Wilde pickups are much more expensive than the BL-705 from Jack. Bottom line is, the BL-705 works and is the right price for a lap steel. Wasn't the BL-705 designed by Willi Lorenzo Stich a.k.a. the man Bill Lawrence? Just because Jack is selling them doesn't make them any less of a pickup.
