I ran across a mention on facebook that Doug has just started a Patreon account. Directly supports Doug, and gives you access to new and exclusive content.
Just $10 a month, no contract or commitment.

Wade, there is not much content right now, but I know that Doug is working hard to get as much content as possible uploaded.

I think this is a great way to learn from Doug who has proven himself time and time again to be in the uppermost tier of steel guitarists. Heck he does more with his thumb that i can even think in my head.

Kristen, can you elaborate? I signed up to support and learn from Doug; I know very little about Patreon.

Kristen - I have no idea what organizations patreon supports, but then again if I looked into what some places I shop support, I'd probably have no clothes to where or could hardly every go out and eat. But I do know one guy I support, and that's Doug Jernigan. Currently, through this website is the best way Doug can give material to a number group of people. Thanks to all that have signed up thus far. Hope more of you join and learn from one of the greatest there ever was on the PSG.

I wouldn't worry about it. Doing some research, they seem to have annoyed "both" sides, by trying to keep controversial content off their platform. It's not a political site......it's a way of supporting artists.

Patreon supports Artists. Ten dollars a month is not much when you consider what a private lesson would cost. The opportunity to learn from a master is priceless in my opinion.

Is there a way to see a list of the artists or do you just have to search? It doesn't seem to be very friendly in that way. If I stumbled on to the Patreon page there's nothing there that would make me want to dig for more information and to find out who all I might want to support and learn from.
