Kinda like a black Harley Davidson motorcycle.
I like many of the colors but I think the black and chrome looks very classic.

I have a black and chrome Excel. Looks good on a dark stage where a beautiful wood cabinet would be wasted.

Their are a lot good colors and a lot of good steel guitars that sound good but I still prefer Gloss Shiny Black. My first professional steel was Black. A lot of folks will tell you Black sounds better? J.R.

Color Wavelength (nm)
Red 650 - 800
Orange 590 - 640
Yellow 550 - 580
Green 490 - 530
Blue 460 - 480
Indigo 440 - 450
Violet 390 - 430
Is the frequency of black the same as white?
Any frequency outside the visible spectrum would work, but we normally think of black as no frequency at all. Or, put another way, the frequency is zero. Blackness is the absence of light, so turning on a light of any visible frequency would mean that you don’t have black. White is a mixture of all frequencies; black is no frequency.
Frequencies of the color of your guitar could affect your sound. HaHa |

BLACK is the absence of ALL colors or light or reflection thereof, thus NO wavelength.
WHITE is the presence or reflection of ALL colors and wavelengths. IF white looks "off white"... something's already missing.
Neither black nor white are considered "colors", they are "tones"
"Things" DON'T have colors. Different materials absorb and reflect certain light frequencies. Those hit our eyes' retina and trigger nerve reactions, to which our brain assigns the IMPRESSION or "color". Your "Green" may look like what I think of blue... yet we call that "red" because we learned that all objects that reflect frequencies between 650 to 600 Nano Meters are CALLED "RED".
But Black remains BLACK and White WHITE. This is why everybody when asked about their favorite almost never mention Black or White...
But RED guitars still play FASTER, no matter what! ... J-D.

It doesn't have shinny metal, but here is my gloss black GFI S-10 Expo -
I even covered the trim on my Don Blood Armrest with black vinyl.
I've previously owned 2 black Sho-Buds, and 1 Black Mullen. We all know that black sounds better, and they are probably easier to sell than various colors (not sure).
