Looking at selling this historic, late 40’s early 50’s Double neck 8 String Rickenbacker lap steel.. Fitted with Brand new strings & tuned to E13 & C6th..The horseshoe pickups sound amazing and the guitar is in excellent shape… 1 owner, in home guitar…was purchased brand new by 16 yr old..almost 70 years ago, he’s 85 today…$1500. | I received a post from another forumite….†I bought one of these earlier this year and I am very happy with the instrument. I paid a fair price which was $2,500.00 Australian. When you compare any electric guitar of this age, quality and heritage I think they represent very good value. My other guitars are getting jealous I'm sure.†|

Now have a SX 6 string lap in G,.A Tele plus telecaster, Larrivee acoustic.Also have a Fender resonator guitar with new Quarterman cone and spider,and an Allan tailpiece.Playing through a Fender Super Champ XD,using a little delay on the amp and a Harmonix Holy Grail Echo pedal,set on Hall turned to about 1pm.Just got a Fender Dual 6 Stringmaster style. Bought a Yamaha FGX5 Recently and love it. |
