Are the dimensions in a single-neck Emmons PP identical to the front half of a D-10, or are they identical to the back half, in terms of the distance between cross rods and underside of the top? |

Short answer is that an S10 PP matches the C6 half of a D10 body in terms of cross shaft offset from the top deck.
The E9 changer fingers on a D10 are 1/4" longer to compensate for the higher deck so that all cross shafts, rodding and tuning screws in the endplate are on the same plane. S10 changer fingers are the same as C6. _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |
