thanx Jerry, I noticed the serial# plate is different than the plates I have on most other peavey amps it is smaller and is all metal and does not peel off. also, any idea when the ltd 400 started production and when it ended.....thanx Tommy

I'm not sure on the dates Tommy. I think mid 70s they were introduced right after the Session 400 and it's essentially the same amp but just a smaller cabinet. I believe those came out around '74. I don't know when production ceased.
