I'm wondering Question
What makes a good tab, and who does it best. Don't be modest if it's you!

Won't get into that "best" battle, but I like Jeff Garden's tabs here. Easy to read and puts the lead line in here and there to keep you honest.

Some tabs are formatted for clarity and instruction suitable for a beginner or intermediate player, including bar lines, rhythmic notation and chords above, song lyrics underneath, and even full treble clef staff notation. Advanced players don't need tabs at all, and if they do, they can decipher the dyslexic nightmare of lines and digits floating in spacetime. It's a continuum of accessibility based upon ear training, knowledge of the song, motor skills, and visual representation. Of course, some nuances cannot be written.

Being a one year beginner, I'd like as many clues as possible, written in... It takes time and effort to build ear training skills, and PSG knowledge...

My tabs contain the notation, chords and lyrics in addition to the tablature.
I have over 2,000 tabs including country, gospel, hawaiian and old standards.
Some people like them. Rolling Eyes

Mike Sullivan has tabbed out a lot of Mike Headrick's music. Mike Sullivan's tab is very accurate and well presented. He also tabbed a piano / county / jazz song for me that was quite complex. He did a great job transcribing it for the PSG.
