Sounds great, please tell me more. I'm very interested in PSG sounding like different instruments.
What size or shape did you mill the bar down to?
Were there any effects you were using? _________________ Nickel and Steel. Sad Songs and Steel Guitar.

Thanks Karl. I had a 3/8" wide flat area milled and then polished by a machine shop locally. Not using any effects besides a touch of 'verb. I still find it a challenge to not want to add left hand vibrato, although the "sitar bar" helps to discourage it. _________________ MCI Arlington S-10 3+5, George L E-66, BJS & Emmons bars, Fender Princeton 65W, Fender Satellite SFX, custom FX rack, 1983 Dobro 60D, SX-8 lap steel, Martin D16GT, Ibanez AS73, 1978 Rickenbacker 4000 custom. |

I find it takes a very light touch, no bar pressure to get the tone from my sitar bar. Paul Franklin uses a narrow flat bar like the old lap steel slides. |
