Before the Dark - Genevieve Artadi

For a couple years I've been a fan of the crazy multiinstrumentalist Louis Cole, and also his band KNOWER with Genevieve Artadi. Really innovative, funky stuff, lots of jazz and electronic music influences. I'd never listened to any of her solo stuff though, so on a Youtube whim I clicked on one:

I had somewhat low expectations but that one kind of floored me...simple but really beautiful, and the lyrics are perfect, understated. De gustibus non est disputandum, of course, but thought I'd share. Already working out the melody on steel...
