The C9 works equally well for chords. I found that if I just tap the bar across four strings it sounds remarkably like a keyboard chord with all four notes sounding at the same instant. This technique makes it easy to play chords eight to the bar.
Doug's demo sounds good. In my case I sold my C9 the same day I got it. It just sounded too artificial and gimmicky for my taste. YMMV of course. I use a cheap mod pedal to get a simplified version of the Telstar sound and it sounds less "processed". |
