I agree with Pete. I had the privilege of doing a short program for the local Rotary Club here in town. Most of them had no idea what a pedal steel was. One gentleman said he had never heard anything so pretty before. I got to tell them about the steel, and it's history. At the end of the program, I turned it upside down and let them see the workings underneath. It was a neat experience for them, and for me. I think I made a few converts that day. I sure hope so!
