How would one swap A and C pedals on a push pull to go from Day to Emmons?

This will do it if you only need 2 pedals:

It should be pretty easy, since you already have two bell cranks on each pedal shaft, and two pull rods for each pedal that are the right length, and the two pull hooks.

A matter of moving the bell cranks to the right alignment and swapping the pull rods. Then re-adjust the pedal travel then the collars. Might be good to take a photo first of the shock springs and collar locations.

Good luck! (you don't need it, it's simple.)

Thanks Mike. I have completely disassembled the mechanism on a pp before, but never set up changes. Looks like it shouldn't be too bad. It's an 82 model. I might contact you if when I run into trouble.

Hey Wayne,
I'm no pro, but I've successfully changed some things around. I also have a good little stash of Emmons set-up papers books -well book - If you need anything.

Swapping those pedals should be no problem for you.

If the Left Knee Levers are set up to raise and lower the 4 & 8 strings they will need to be changed also. With the Emmons Setup needs to have the 4 & 8 string raise on the LKL. If not your foot will have to roll left and your knee move right for the A pedal raise, And 4 & 8 E raise.

2 guitars I have bought set up Emmons I had to change the knee levers to go to Day Setup. I Play Day setup. [/list]
