Rick ,what you just said about having fun is where I'm at right now. Spent too many hours anguishing and trying to be Buddy,Paul,Doug etc. I'm learning to just admire their abilities and just enjoy my own journey with this crazy instrument. Keep em' coming Rick.

I think you've got the right idea. I'm really surprised at the interest there is in some of the songs I've been doing. Not about my mediocre performance, but the song itself. There's so many good songs that seem to be forgotten.

This just became my newest favorite song!
When I close my eyes and listen, I can see him coming home to this.
Thanks for the amazing music!

It's pretty triumphant when the harmony vocalist comes in. Don't be surprised if he hits you up for a stouter cut of pay.

Those guys in my band can't get along. They fuss all the time. Smile

That’s outstanding, Rick! That’s the stuff I love to hear. You did excellent on vocals, instruments and mixing everything. Hope you’ll be posting more!

I wasn’t aware until today that it was a Wayne Kemp and Wild Bill Emerson composition, and I’m a big fan of both. I was familiar with it by Ronnie Milsap, from his 20/20 Vision album.

Thank you Werner! I didn't know my music was making it to Germany. I used to go there ocassionally with work. The company I worked for was headquartered in Krefeld, close to Duesseldorf, mining/chemical industry. I had great friends there. My wife was there a few years with the military. Glad you enjoy my music. I have a passion to resurrect some of the old traditional songs that have been forgotten. It's usually easier to do the playing by myself than it is to find players that know them. I'm having fun with it.
