Clinesmith offers a longer scale. Fouke will also build one at probably any scale you want.

.
Fouke, Duesenberg, Asher, Clinesmith, probably many more.
I have all but the Clinesmith and they are all a pleasure to play.

RAM Guitars in Chicagoland makes lovely Gibsonesque short and long scale lap and console steels.

Hey Bill,
I love the practice board I just got from you, that’s what got me thinking about a 24.5” scale. If your into building another steel, that would be great. I will put together some ideas and email you by this coming Monday.
And I gotta say, from start to finish, dealing with you was easy, no problems, and bottom line, you built and delivered a great instrument. Thanks again,
Steve

Larry Pogreba (who may or may not still be building), made me a baritone weissenborn that is excellent. 27” inch scale I think Add a Seymour Duncan soundhole pickup and away you go.

See the lap steel in his instagram catalog, but it is just an example...you can click through that picture to see more. these are 8-strings, but he can do any number of strings...
