Larry, are you looking for a hotel? We booked a bed and breakfast in Baxter Springs. Not much else there. Otherwise we stay in Joplin. The Baxter Hotel is not good.

What Larry said. There is always Downstream Casino and Hotel. It is right off I 44, just about five miles from Baxter Springs.

My teachers tried to make me stop talking 60+ years ago and it did not work. Even Uncle Sam knew I could talk and made me an instructor for 6 years in the Army.

Larry Dering, your right about Baxter Inn Motel. Really bad reviews. Could you or any one else share a number for a
Bed and Breakfast in Baxter.. May be all filled up by now.
Many thanks, Larry Baker

That's where we booked. It will be our 1st time staying there. In the past we stayed at the Best Western Oasis in Joplin. It was ok but not great. 2019 our services there was lacking. Room not cleaned, had to go to front desk multiple times for towels, etc on our 2nd day. The Casino is a bit pricy for weekends. Ask for a special rate at the Little Brick Inn for the show.
