A song with Ralph Mooney on steel-- -On my Way Back Home

There is this song on You Tube featuring Ralph Mooney on steel guitar in his later years. The song is "On My Way Back Home." I keep listening to this song over and over. I was not impressed by the singer, but what Ralph did really caught my ear. But---anything Ralph did caught my ear.
Wish someone could tab what Ralph played as the break in the middle of the song? It is so unique! I know Ralph's setup was not like most E9th guitars of today. Maybe someone can figure out what Ralph played on the standard E9th tuning of today? Below is the You Tube link.
