Last of my preamps that I’m using with the Mosvalve 500 power amp. Single space unit that has amazing tone and endless versatility. These were used by some of the big players in years past and every bit as relevant today. This one is in excellent condition and works as it should. $150 plus shipping. I will get pics up this evening.
Thanks,
Dave 🙂

Dynamite 3 spc. rig right there with the GP100 and the MosValve 500. Endless possibilities for steel or guitar with that Roland as a preamp/processor for everything from jazz to metal. Add a couple cabs and you're set.

Jerry, thanks for the words my friend. These Roland units, as well as the Mosvalve amps, are still relevant today and give a good run against anything on the market currently. The Roland was well ahead of its time and the most versatile preamp/effects unit I’ve ever used. Endless versatility to say the least! Have a nice weekend.
Dave 🙂

Congrats to whoever got it. I've been using that same rig with the MV500 for a few years. Just sat down at it today. With the blackface preamp setting and a variety of algorithims, it can sound like anything you want for steel and if you play guitar, there's unlimited amp models.

The features include easy programming, no confusing menus, 2 sets of loops, lines out, too much to list here. Even at + 20 yrs old that's a fantastic bargain. These units sold for $1000 to $1250 with an even higher MSR list and they sound as good and have way more features than anything available today.

As David says, still relevant today.

Jerry,
I hope you’re doing well and thanks for the great input my friend. The Mosvalve is exactly what I was using it with and original cone JBL’s. These units are everything you said and then some as you already know and the blackface setting is what I use also. I never even came close to using all the capabilities available but very easy and intuitive once you get to setting up the patches. I just have too much equipment and trying to thin the herd since I haven’t played out in years. I remember when I first purchased the Roland after years of using Peavey units and of course they immediately became obsolete when I set it up. A long time member who’s familiar with the Roland is the new owner.

Have a great weekend.
Dave 🙂
