Anyone have any experience with Vintage Sounds amps with steel? More specifically the Vintage 35 from the early 2010s that preceded the current Vintage 35sc. It’s a 35w ab763 style in a princeton size cab with a 12†speaker. They seem to get pretty glowing reviews amongst guitarist that have used them. |

i've had a vintage sound 15 w/ 12" warehouse speaker on loan from a friend for few months now. I thought it was fine, w/ plenty clean headroom and loud enough for my rehearsal needs. it is dead silent at volume with no input which is a plus.
however, it was never more than just fine, and when I finally got a BF princeton there was zero comparison: the fender amp blew it out of the water.
YMMV

I love my 12watt Princeton style VS. great for the studio and small stages. Very excellent tone and build quality! Mines from 2008. _________________ Sierra Session U12, Milkman 1/2, Goodrich Omni, Divine Noise Cables, BJS, Solid cosmic gold, baby 👶🻠|

Thanks Gary. Curious to know what speaker you have in it. |
