There are two different syles of bridge covers for Stringmasters.
The early ones screwed down and the later ones pivoted off the bridge so you could access the knurled knob.

Yup... the screwdown ones were on the earliest 26" models. Mines is a late 50s model w/ the 3 position Tele switch.
