Last of my rack units. Mosvalve 500 solid state amp that sounds about as close to a tube power amp as they come. The amp can be used in stereo or bridged mono. I’ve found the original 500 model superior to the later incarnation of the 1500 model after the company changed hands. I’ve been using this with a Roland GP100 preamp with fantastic results. Only issue is the pots tend to become scratchy on all of these Mosvalve units. Doesn’t affect the playability or tone just a noticeable sound when adjusting the volume. $225 plus shipping. I will get some pics up later this evening. I’d be interested in a trade for a black face Walker preamp.
Thanks,
Dave 🙂

Great to talk to my friend Paul today, but the Mosvalve amp is still available. The only trade interest I have would be a Walker blackface preamp.
Thanks,
Dave 🙂 |
