You guys may have seen this on the forum about 3 months ago and my headache has now become your opportunity! LOL.
I've got an older model Williams E9 single neck conversion. It's 1995, serial #324. It's somewhat light, pretty, and plays decently. This was a conversion from a double neck to a single E9 neck with a pad. The player also converted the pedals to the middle of the pedal bracket, which a lot of players like that position. I took this steel to local builder Glenn Taylor to clean up the conversion by putting the knee levers back toward the edge of the cabinet, adding a new pedal rod, cleaning up some the pedal changes and pedal lengths and adjusting and straightening out the pull rods as well as adding some parts to the 9th string stop.
I bought this not knowing that the previous player had converted it somewhat recklessly, so my problem has now become your opportunity, as the conversion has been cleaned up and this now is a solid player. $1750 plus the ride
