| Does the Goodrich Omni pedal duplicate (and thus render unnecessary) the buffer function of the matchbox? I am aware, of course, that it does not replace the tone and gain control on the matchbox. |

| Mike, my understanding is that it is one model, but you can turn off the active feature to make it passive. Presumably you then lose the buffering function and have, essentially, a 120-like passive pedal. Maybe Jim or Kevin will jump in to correct me if I'm mistaken. |

Thanks Ben; I think the pedals are active and passive but you’re right about being able to bypass an active pedal or use a 9 volt battery, mine however is simply passive. I really like the sound of the passive pedal and don’t like plugging in power cables etc. , I felt this passive pedal sounded better than my L-120 so all is good, thanks for your input!
