I spoke with them and they are going to remove it from their site. The person they bought it from also had the stolen mandolin and banjo.
This Melbert lap steel, s/n 0034, was stolen from the owner's home in Amarillo, TX while she was out of town June 1 and 2. If anyone sees it, it'll be easy to identify. Ambrosia maple, Wallace custom single coil pickup, stainless steel "egg slicer" bridge. If you see it, please email me at melbertguitars@gmail.com. The thieves also took her 3 guitars, antique mandolin, violin, and banjo.

Well, that's great that they will be returned, it's a rare thing. |

The store in OK City bought only the lap steel. They did get the person's name, address, and driver's license information. |

A BAD deed does not go unpunished (presumably). Woohoo!
So very happy for the owner of the Melbert, and I hope all of the other instruments are recovered as well. |
