Ronald E. Eyler, 82, of Orchard Lane Waynesboro, PA, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 in his home.

Born June 25, 1938 in Blue Ridge Summit, PA he was the son of the late Guy F. and Charlotte M. (Benchoff) Eyler

Mr. Eyler attended Waynesboro Area Schools.

He and his wife, the late Mrs. Joyce H. (Honodel) Eyler were married June 20, 1959 in Salem Church, Waynesboro, PA. Mrs. Eyler passed away April 29, 2021.

Mr. Eyler was a talented, self-employed steel guitar player. He played with many famous artists over his career including, Jimmy Dean, Lefty Frizzell, and Grandpa Jones. In addition to his music, he ran a successful excavating business for many years, R.E. Eyler Excavating.
