I've got a bunch of LP record albums I'm going to put up for sale here on the forum, both pedal steel instrumental (19 of them) and man vocal albums (50 or more). I know how to get LP record mailers, but my main question, is HOW MUCH does it cost to ship albums? I need to know how much to ask for S&H. Anyone with experience at this?

I think the post office should be able to give you a good estimate of media mail postage if you give them size and weight of box and destination.

Thanks Gene. The best I can tell, it should be around $4.00 to $5.00 for 1-5 LP's at a time in a standard mailer. I did some digging around and that's the best estimate I found. I haven't ever sold records by mail before, so I guess I'll find out soon. I just posted an ad with a bunch of albums for sale.

I found that the cheapest way to ship LPs is by USPS Media Mail.
Recently I shipped 20 LPs to Hawaii for less than $10.00.
Takes a little longer for delivery but saves money.
I have a lot more LPS from the early 50s for sale. All types. Cool
