I have a Supro Airline lap steel that needs a new Tone pot,any suggestions?,don't know what is in there. Maybe needs a new cap? If i work the tone ,there is no diff in sound.

Now have a SX 6 string lap in G,.A Tele plus telecaster, Larrivee acoustic.Also have a Fender resonator guitar with new Quarterman cone and spider,and an Allan tailpiece.Playing through a Fender Super Champ XD,using a little delay on the amp and a Harmonix Holy Grail Echo pedal,set on Hall turned to about 1pm.Just got a Fender Dual 6 Stringmaster style. Bought a Yamaha FGX5 Recently and love it. |

| One other thing, Carl. If you want an "even and smooth" tone control operation, then you'll want to use a linear taper pot. But if you want a faster tone change, like for a "doo-wah" effect, then you'll want to use an audio taper pot. It's all personal preference, based on the type of action you're looking for. |
