LEAO is the ongoing project of my friend David Feauai-Afaese, based in Auckland, New Zealand. Although my primary interest has been classic period Hawaiian music since I began playing steel, it is an honour to be included in this beautiful, original music.

I am using a JB Frypan in C13 through a borrowed Fender Princeton Chorus.

We are one of three bands filmed as part of a local showcase using vintage VHS equipment and live-streamed last Saturday night.

I was a little too quiet throughout, but can be heard clearly at 1:50:40 (Tumutumu Mauga) and 2:05:35 (Musika Malie).

The Ghost Roads EP can be heard at the following link, although there is no steel guitar contained on the recordings.
