Just watched Vince Gill and Paul Franklin on "Larry's Country Diner." That was a great show!

I watched that show last night also. I enjoyed watching them interact with each other. Great musicians and they make it look so easy.

Best steel and vocal sound on the planet. Pauls steel with the little walter, wow. The sound engineer on this show always does a great job because the vocals and instruments always sound perfect. Vince and Paul how can it get any better?

I thought Paul's tone on the show was better than on the Bakersfield CD - Always thought it was a little to thin for my liking on the CD Smile

I was fortunate enough to catch that show two nights in a row. I just don’t see how it would leave someone wanting for more. Paul’s playing was beyond awesome. Besides in this day and age, country music is dead to the media and you just don’t ever get to see steel guitar show cased like they did it on this show.

Great music by 3 of my favorite musicians, and one of my favorite singers. I do have other favorites like some of you guys, but this was really great. Very Happy

I didn't notice the banado but I did hear that

Paul didn't seem to have a lot of verb and effects on his steel which sounded great to me

Bakersfield is a great CD. One of the best. Got mine at Cracker Barrell.

Possibly because Franklin was recreating the Bakersfield sound? Franklin can do anything.

I was fortunate enough to have caught him in Bakersfield. Wow. The guy sitting next to us had seen something like 8 shows in a row. He was traveling around following the tour just to hear these performances. He's either a great fan or a stalker - eeeh haaaw.

If I had a vote, it'd be for these two performances on the LCD Top Ten:

Mike & Darryle Singletary on A-11

Paul & Dawn Sears with the Time Jumpers on If Your Gonna Do Me Wrong

Jack, that's a great choice. Mike's turn around on Daryls never go around mirrors is beyond excellent. Dawn Sears was on my radar long ago and kills on that version.
