For sale is this cool Sonic Blue Esquire, based on a 1955 model. This is a custom built guitar. Body is light weight Swamp Ash by Wildwood Mfg. [USA], finished in thin nitro lacquer. Neck is from Allparts [made in Japan]. Very nice neck fit and alinement. Large 50s U shape, .960 at the first fret, .990 at the 12th. Medium sized frets, 9.5 radius. Rolled fretboard edges, polished frets, thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Pickup is a Fender 50s Vintera, 7.4 K. Cloth wiring, CTS pots, nos Astron cap. Fender bridge with brass saddles, dome knobs, and era correct switch tip. A few tiny dinks on the body. Nice weight at 6lbs 15 oz. Dropped to $600 plus shipping. SOLD pending payment.
