Alan Jackson released a new album after a six year hiatus. Here is an interview with Yahoo Entertainment: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/alan-jackson-opens-up-about-family-tragedies-six-year-recording-hiatus-and-the-joy-of-making-music-again-it-just-about-made-me-tear-up-231721701.html

Released today, I've been listening to it early this morning. While its an excellent CD musically, very Steel strong, very traditional, I find the song subject matter and lyrics to be pretty depressing !

I like what I've heard. The question I have is - are any radio stations gonna play it? Not that I worry about radio - I mostly program my own music and haven't listened to much of any radio but the local college stations in decades. But I think it would be good for the music if more stuff like this got wider airplay.
