I've posted a few threads here about my never ending search for Lapsteel in Surf Music of the 60's. This one just came to light for me and they're from Australia following in the footsteps of the fantastic Aussie Surf band the Atlantics (Drumbeat on Kahuna is very reminiscent of Bombora)! They were initially called "The Renegades" then changed their name to "The Charades". Here's two of their songs on YT, I'm desperately searching for the B-side of Kahuna entitled "Hot Sands". Surfs UP!

I would think potentially Peter Van de Voorde since he's a multi-instrumentalist. Not putting down regular guitar players but you know...... Razz

I suspect you are already familiar with The Impacts. I have the Wipe Out album and really like it.
