I just read the Freddie Roulette interview in Andy Volks fantastic 'Lapsteel Guitar' book. It says that Freddie used the Manoloff book to learn steel guitar.
Does anybody have a copy of that book ? I heard it is for A Hibass and there is a version that provides tab next to standard notation.

Would be very interested to get a copy or scan of that book.

Greetings from Berlin

Sebastian

I know I have his Standard (low bass) Hawaiian method, not sure if I have this one though. I'll keep you in mind if I come across it as I'm going through stuff.

I just found a copy of his Low bass book (along with a variety of other old, low bass books from that era) at the local Friends of the Library sale. Would have cost a dollar. After looking through them, I opted to not bother getting any.
