I have a MCI welded frame D-10 for sale.
It is loaded up with 9 foot pedals and 8 knee levers and George L's E-66 pickups.
I forget what it had when I bought it but I added at least one foot pedal and one knee lever.
It is a beautiful red color and in excellent condition.
I just took some pictures and hope they turned out OK.
I am also including some adjustable return springs and some additional nylon tuners that I bought from Michael
Yahl and never got around to installing.
I am going to do some fine tuning and adjusting on it while I have it set up.
I am asking $3,250.00 for the guitar plus the trip.

J R,
I'm kind of getting cold feet about selling it.
After you've done quite a bit of work on a guitar you get rather attached to it. Very Happy

I know what you mean Erv. I just sold my last steel for sale, the Red Rains. I never had done anything on it, just had it set up to look at. It was like a new one. So I am keeping my Jerry Brightman built Black Performance that I took all apart and cleaned and oiled. Set everything up right and all new pull rods. It plays great and sounds great. They can just put it in my grave with me,ha. You do get attached to certain ones. Cheers, J.R.

Erv, I have Ron Elliott's EMCI Golden Eagle model he played in 1990 ISGC. His set and on the Super jam sets if anyone wants to hear how good these guitars sound. I've owned over 30 guitars and this one is as good as any of them and better than most. Truly great guitars and very underrated if you've never played one. My prejudiced opinion. Someone will get a great guitar.

Great guitars, I played this S-12 out in 88 degree direct sun for a 2 hour show this afternnon, and it really held it's tuning well, and sounded great. Awesome guitars, gotta say I'm a fan!

I've never owned one, but from everything I've heard about these guitars I'm surprised somebody hasn't snatched it up. I bet I'm not the only one counting my pennies to see if they can take it off your hands lol. Good luck with the sale.

I have 3 EMCI's. A D-10, SD-10 and SD-12
The reason they hold tuning so well is there is hardly any wood in them. It's a welded one piece aluminum frame with solid steel cross shafts. Only the top soundboard is wood and it's laminated so many times it's like a piece of steel too. It would have to get tremendously hot to start changing the tuning. Wood breathes in and out like lungs which changes it's size and tuning. Martin builds some acoustic guitars from real hard synthetic material to withstand weather extremes that would bust their wooden guitars.
That's a fully loaded MCI. Wow! Great guitar!

I have an MCI Range Expander, tone wise, it holds its own very closely to my 70 P/P. Not exactly but comfortably close. Plays smooth, stays in tune and less weight than other D-10's. I'd be hard pressed to part with it!
