Cocaine & Rhinestones is a website and podcast created and hosted by Tyler Mahan Coe, son of David Alan Coe.
He is a great story teller and does the research to back up the stories. Check out the website: https://cocaineandrhinestones.com/ _________________ Remembering Harold Fogle (1945-1999) Pedal Steel Player

Been listening for the last two years and supporting him on Patreon. Season 2 is about to come out. If anything this will be much more detailed than the first season. _________________ Kevin Maul: Airline, Beard, Clinesmith, Decophonic, Evans, Excel, Fender, Fluger, Gibson, Hilton, Ibanez, Justice, K+K, Live Strings, MOYO, National, Oahu, Peterson, Quilter, Rickenbacher, Sho~Bud, Supro, TC, Ultimate, VHT, Williams, X-otic, Yamaha, ZKing. |

I saw this series of stories a couple of years ago and have read them all. Great stuff. One story is on the Bakersfield Sound and makes a good case that Ralph Mooney kicked it off and revolutionised the country music style with his work on "Crazy Arms". Thanks for the reminder Jim!

Jim, Thanks for bringing this up. I saw something a while back on the podcast, but didn't pursue it, had not listened to podcasts, but finally took the plunge.
Mr. Coe does a real good job, seems well researched and has lots of interesting sound clips, I will definitely listen to more episodes. _________________ Regards, Craig
