Hi folks, I've fallen in love with Lloyd Green's version of B Bowman hop:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SrGvOWf6tM
which I imagine he played on his S10 E9.
Anybody know how to play that very cool ornament he does on the main melody? Or seen a tab for this?
In the meantime I'll be studying the tune via Greg Cutshaw's C6 tab here:

Many thanks,

My favorite version is Jimmy Day's, 4:40 at the link below:
.

I like the synching between the steel and drums, very tight and the thumb sweeps and rhythm pads he does in the background.
A lot of the Lloyd Green tunes on that album were actually played on C6. Most of those C6 sounds can be duplicated on E9 if you're willing the change keys to B. |

Thanks Greg - I've got a lot of studying to do!
Maybe that's the version which inspired Lloyd?
Any idea how that trill on the chromatic walkdown is played - in the second iteration of the A section?
Is it a bar bounce combined with the pedal? Just the pedal?
I'm having trouble working it out. _________________ I'm a beginner with a
